The Oklahoma Association of Municipal Attorneys (OAMA) was formed to educate, support and inform municipal attorneys in the highly specialized field of municipal law. The member cities and towns, through their attorneys, operate the organization.

OAMA offers many benefits to its members. Its publications include a yearly OAMA Directory of Municipal Attorneys. OAMA sponsors at least two educational opportunities a year, one in the spring and one in conjunction with the Oklahoma Municipal League's annual fall conference. The programs have presumptive OBA Mandatory CLE credit. OAMA has contracted with the Oklahoma Municipal League for administrative services and headquarters.
