Larry Curtis
Larry R. Curtis is the CEO for CivicDynamic, a newly formed company dedicated to assisting local communities in city, town, county, and regional government. With a Master of Science in Architectural Urban Design Studies from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management from The University of Tulsa, Larry has over a decade of experience in urban planning and community development. His expertise focuses on creating vibrant, sustainable environments that enhance the quality of life for residents.
Larry also serves as the Community Development Director for the City of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, starting in January 2023. He has also worked with several Oklahoma communities, including Rogers County, Luther, Inola, Verdigris, and Catoosa, and has extensive experience from his time in Broken Arrow, where he managed divisions including Planning & Development, Placemaking, Neighborhood Engagement, and Urbanism & Sustainability.
Throughout his career, Larry has led the development of comprehensive plans, zoning ordinances, and public transportation planning, among other initiatives. He is a Certified Floodplain Manager and has collaborated with various government entities, utilizing tools from the ArcGIS Suite to SQL Databases and programming languages such as HTML and CSS. His commitment to improving urban environments and fostering community engagement is evident in his approach to each project and initiative he undertakes.
